Bladin’ in Berlin

Hi! If you're not familiar with me, my name is Tara. I'm passionate about rollerblading and combining my love of skating with my love of supporting my community to bring impactful and positive change to the world.

Typically, when I have done fundraisers/crowdfunding in the past, it's been for nonprofits. I plan to continue supporting nonprofits, but this time around I would like to ask for your support of me directly.

I've had multiple people inquire how they can support my dreams (skating in the BMW Berlin Marathon with Rollerblade) and figured this would be the best way to do so. If you feel so compelled to support my journey, I would be so endlessly grateful and honored. Money donated for this trip will help me with accommodations, gear, and will help me better document my trip.

In the long run, my truest desires are to continue to gain exposure to continue to help the nonprofits that do the impactful groundwork in communities that need it most. I hope that by going on this trip, I will be able to gain exposure to increase donations in the future to my initiatives. The main fundraiser I host is "Santa Bladin'," - each December I ask for monetary & in-kind donations to support SAMMinistries, a nonprofit in San Antonio, TX helping provide support to families at risk of or currently experiencing homelessness. Outside of "Santa Bladin'" I have also raised thousands of dollars to support young women's education, animal shelters, and putting resources directly into the hands of our homeless friends in downtown San Antonio.

Asking for support for myself has been a battle for me - but the many of you who believe in me and want to help me make my dreams come true is why I am setting this up. Any contribution you would like to extend is so appreciated by me. I hope to continue making you proud. ❤️✨
