Blaenau Ffestiniog Community Mini Bus
Donation protected
Grandma's Attic Community Project (Blaenau Ffestiniog) is raising funds for a community mini bus which we will be able to use on a daily basis to provide transport for local residents to access hospital and other medical appointments.
Many members of our community are isolated due to our location and a simple trip to a hospital appointment in Bangor can take several hours of travelling.
The cost implications are often too much and leads to individuals cancelling much needed treatments.
We recognise that this impacts both medical and mental health and are planning to provide a free service for our residents to ensure that they are no longer victimised due to their demographic and financial restraints.
The mini bus will also be used for socially isolated residents to enable them to access local projects including our community Christmas Day lunch.
As a not for profit organisation which operates through a team of dedicated volunteers, your support, no matter how small, will really make a difference
