Blaine & Abigail Duff Lost Everything in House
House Fire
Blaine, Abigail, Andrew, Mathew, and fur babies Abey, Lincoln, and Fiona were awoken in the early hours Saturday April 24th to the sound and smell of fire.
Thankfully everyone was safely evacuated from the residence without harm.
The family is grateful to the Sables Spanish River Volunteer Firefighters for showing up to fight the fire. Sadly, the flames had engulfed the home and nothing could be done to save the structure. Everything, including a vehicle was lost in the fire, nothing at all was salvageable.
The Duff family will have a long road ahead to get back on their feet. Those who know this family know that they are a strong and proud family that have faced too many heart aches over the past two years, and we know this will only slow them down for a bit.
Many friends and community members have asked what they can do to help? Not surprising for our small community to want to rally together to help the Duff family. Currently the family is staying in a small camper trailer until they can find suitable housing to rent. We feel at this point the best way to show our support to Blaine & Abi would be in the form of a monetary donation to assist this fun loving, well known family get the basics they need to begin rebuilding their lives.
Thank you in advance for your support and encouragement as we help our small town friends through this difficult loss.
