Blair Boone Memorial

Hello, My name is Peter Bierstaker. I am Blair’s significant other and we have been living together for the past year. I have set up this fundraiser in honor of Blair in hopes it may alleviate the costs that have accrued over the course of her illness and our time together as well as honoring her last wishes to spread her ashes in the places she holds dear.

As a young couple, we have faced a myriad of extraordinary challenges in a very short time. Because of Blair’s fragile condition, we had been limited to a single income, and this was stretched very thin. As Blair’s medical visits and hospital stays became more frequent, so did the costs associated with them.

I worked long days and, as her conditions worsened, I decided I needed to give notice with my employer in order to be home with her as much as possible and to care for her.

This resulted in increased difficulty to cover our costs and, as a result, I have incurred a level of debt that is currently unsustainable.

It is hoped that with your thoughtful support during this incredibly difficult time, I can navigate these financial challenges while continuing to heal emotionally from this terrible loss. It is my wish to not only recover from the aforementioned debt, but to also be able to help her family with funeral costs, and contribute in any way I can.
