It is with profound sadness that we inform you of the unexpected passing of Blaise Carney on Sunday, November 12th. Blaise, along with Tracey and their children, were enjoying a relaxing vacation in Grays Harbor, reveling in the rare autumn sunshine of the Pacific Northwest. Sadly, the family woke to the heartbreaking news that Blaise had passed away peacefully in his sleep. At this time, the cause of his passing remains unknown, and we kindly request that everyone respect the family's privacy as they navigate this sudden and devastating loss of a cherished husband, father, son, brother, uncle, doctor, and friend.
The following events will allow family and friends to come together and celebrate Blaise's life.
- A vigil is scheduled for this Monday (Nov 20) at St. Mary’s (611 20th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98144) from 5:30 to 8 pm, with speeches beginning around 7 pm.
- On Tuesday (Nov 21), there will be a viewing starting at 9:30 am for those interested. The service will follow from 10 to 11 am at St. Mary’s, and afterward, there will be a reception at Tinte Cellers in Georgetown from 3 to 7 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend any event.
For the memorial funeral service, we are encouraging you to write down your favorite stories, memories, and photos of Blaise. These heartfelt moments will be collected and compiled into a book, which will be presented to Tracey, Zoey, and Aiden as a precious gift, ensuring the memory of their beloved husband and father lives on.
Instead of flowers or other gifts, we kindly request donations to support Zoey and Aiden's education. Education held great significance for Blaise, and we aim to carry on his legacy through his children, empowering them to make a positive impact on the world. Contributions can be made through this GoFundMe. Your generosity will honor Blaise's commitment to education and help shape a brighter future for Zoey and Aiden.
Let us join together to honor and celebrate the beautiful life of Blaise Carney.
