Darren & Blake Collie & Twins

We are setting up a go fund me account to help support travel and medical expenses for Darren and Blake Collie and their twin boys. 
At their 22 week checkup, Darren and Blake were told that the right ventricle of Carter's (Twin A) heart seemed to be much smaller than normal. After meeting with a maternal fetal medicine doctor and a pediatric cardiologist, they were told that Carter has a congenital heart defect. He has a small right ventricle, pulmonary valve atresia, and tricuspid valve stenosis. Therefore, the right side of Carter's heart will not be able to function properly. This condition is going to require three open heart surgeries during the first few years of his life. The first surgery will take place when Carter is 5-7 days old. Blake will deliver the twins in New Orleans so that they will be close to Ochsner's Children's Hospital for the surgery. They will be living in New Orleans in a hotel for around 2 months for delivery and the first surgery. We are setting up this fund to help them with some of the travel and medical expenses that they will have during this time. Please keep this family in your prayers!!
