Blake and Wendy Thompson

Blake was involved in a horrific accident Wednesday night while mountain biking with the young men in the ward including his son. He didn’t have a pulse when he was found. His bishop who was with him, worked on him until the paramedics got there and had a pulse when he arrived at the hospital. He’s currently in a coma in the ICU. Vertebrae 1,2,5, and 6 are broken. Which means he may never walk again. He keeps having seizures, and they are monitoring his brain. His scans and MRIs have showed no bleeding on his brain. He’s on a ventilator right now and they won’t know more until he wakes up.

Blake and Wendy are amazing people. They’re kind, loving, hard working, and simply the best. Please help in any way you can during this very trying time.
