Blake Barnes

On April 23,2024, my niece Addison was faced with the ultimate tragedy of losing her husband in a fatal accident. Blake was a contract worker for the Kentucky Department of transportation. On the morning of April, 23rd he was flagging traffic when he was struck by a vehicle. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Blake was the sole provider for his wife who is 8months pregnant with their son.

They were so excited about the upcoming birth of their son, and now she is planning her husband’s funeral @ 8 months gestation.

Funerals are overwhelming expensive and Blake did not have a life insurance policy. Addison will be filing judgement against the driver that struck Blake, however, that does not help her in real time.

We are making this gofundme in hopes to ease some of the financial strain of the funeral so that she can properly grieve the loss of her soul mate/best friend/ husband.
