Please Help Support the Bibby Family After the Tragic Loss of Their Son Blake

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-hearted Strangers,

My name is Kelly George and I am hosting this GoFundMe page on behalf of my long-time friend Fern Bibby and her family as they have faced two devastating losses in a short period.

First, they lost their 34-year-old daughter Laura during the height of the pandemic and now their son Blake has been tragically murdered.

On Sunday, July 14, 2024, Blake was at his apartment in Newmarket when his estranged ex-girlfriend, who has a violent past, viciously stabbed Blake several times. Police responded to the report of an injured male and when they arrived they found Blake non-responsive. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The ex-girlfriend, Mckenzie Gill has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder but this does not ease the devastation and loss to the Bibby family. Blake was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend who brought joy and kindness to everyone he met, their hearts are broken, and they will never be the same without him.

In the wake of this unimaginable loss, the Bibby's are faced with unexpected funeral expenses and want to give Blake the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say their last goodbyes.

I am reaching out to our community for support during this incredibly difficult time. Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards covering the funeral costs and providing some relief to the grieving family.
