Blakelyn’s fight against Scimitar
At just 30 weeks gestation, Blakelyn was diagnosed with CPAM. Blakelyn is now just 2 weeks old and has faced those days in the NICU with a long road ahead of her. With further testing, we now know that Blakelyn has Scimitar Syndrome and a tumor in her left lung causing her heart to be displaced to the right side of her tiny body. Because of this, neither her heart nor lungs are working properly. For Blakelyn’s road to recovery, she will need multiple surgeries. Meanwhile, more tests are being done while she continues care in the NICU in critical condition. Blakelyn and her family need lots of thoughts and prayers sent their way during this difficult time. Her parents, Loren and Aubrey Musch have 4 children at home who are currently waiting the arrival of their baby sister.
We are asking for our community’s help in lifting this sweet family up during this difficult time to help lift some burden off of their shoulders so they can remain strong and hopeful for Blakelyn. If you are able to help in any way, please help donate towards the cost of food, transportation, and lodging while they continue to fight to bring Blakelyn home
