Blakely’s Preemie Program

Hi friends and family, we are excited to say that we have been approved to start a preemie program at Conway Regional! As most of you know Blakely was born a preemie, tiny but mighty. We are raising money to go directly towards the purchase of preemie clothes to be given to parents of preemie or small babies born at Conway Regional Hospital. The idea came after Blakely was born and we didn’t have any clothes to fit her. Most parents don’t plan on delivering preterm and are not prepared for everything that comes with that. It may seem silly but I was really stressed/affected by the idea that Blakely wouldn’t have clothes. Nick and I were extremely blessed to have family immediately go out searching for outfits for us and brought them to the hospital. Unfortunately not everyone has that support and most of the time can’t or don’t want to leave their baby to go shopping for outfits. We also learned that most stores don’t carry preemie clothes. Our hope for the program is that every parent of a preemie or small baby will be donated one outfit for them to keep. It’s the small things that can make a big difference during a stressful time. If you are able, we would be grateful if you can help us get this program started.
