Blanca's battle against cancer

Life really does throw curve balls at you when you least expect it. My mother, Blanca Sanchez, brought my sister and I to this country for a shot at the American Dream. She is the most selfless, caring person that you will ever meet and does whatever she can to provide her family with what they need. She is the kind of person to do you a favor even though she is tired or just may not want to. She does not drink or smoke or even curse. Yes she does have her flaws, but she's the best mother anyone could ever ask for. Over spring break, we found out that my mom had a tumor on her stomach. Tests were done and after a couple more doctor visits, she has been diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer and her doctor has concluded that it is inoperable and incurable. This was not news that anyone was expecting to hear and it was devastating to say the least. We were told that without treatment she has 6-9 months and with treatment she has about 2-3 years. She also doesn't have health insurance so her doctor visits, ER stays and treatments are all being paid for out of pocket. This is why we would like to ask our friends and family to help us by donating as much or as little as you can.
