Blankets for a Better Tomorrow
Donation protected
Two years ago, I received a tied fleece blanket from the American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin after spending three days there, one of which in ICU, due to a UTV accident.
Last year, I wanted to give back. I raised money, applied for service grants, purchased fabric, and used the fabric to organize an event with my school and community to tie fleece blankets. We successfully donated 55 blankets to the child patients at the hospital. Of course, this was a community event, and I could not have done it alone!
I had so much fun that now I am asking for more money to do it again. My goal is to, this time, donate 100 blankets to the American Family Children's Hospital in Madison. Please donate to make a happy difference in the lives of patients in need.
