Blankets For Homeless Community & Schools

Hi, my name is Sydney and I am a student at Utah State University.

 

I am fundraising for a large service project in Logan, Utah. With a cold winter approaching, I am working to make over 75 fleece blankets that I can donate to homeless shelters in Utah as well as to elementary schools for struggling kids. Within my work, I see families with small children that are struggling to put food on the table or buy clothes for their little ones, which makes buying bedding or basic comfort items that much harder. My goal is to provide some comfort that will benefit these families and anyone in the community who might need it.

 

The blankets will be made completely by hand and will hopefully be donated before Thanksgiving. The funds need to be raised by Friday, November 19, 2021. Funds raised will go towards buying the material that will be used for making the blankets.

 

This support will mean so much! Not only for me but for those here in the Logan community. A simple donation of $30 is one blanket that can be given to those in need. I'm super excited about this opportunity and I hope you'll be able to help out!
