Help the IBTT Blazers Go For Gold!!

I'm Better Than That is not just a slogan it's our way of life!
IBTT began as an after school program helping under privileged kids in the inner city to find their worth, build confidence and learn life skills through sports. These eager children are shown that they are better than the negative stereotypes, bad behavior and lack of effort that fails our young people today. Over the years our kids have proven they are Golden by winning hundreds of medals at track meets across the country. This success has brought dozens of our kids college athletic scholarships to schools all over the country. We are only supported by the kindness of the community as we do not charge our kids to join the team.
We need your help with track equipment, shoes for the kids, transportation and hotel expenses, along with food and other special needs. Every dollar donated will get a kid closer to fulfilling a dream and create endless possibilities of future success!!! Please consider donating generously to our youth program for the development of strong minds and bodies and brighter futures that will be Better Than That!!!

We are IBTT (I’m Better Than That) Track Club based in Lake Dallas, TX. IBTT is a small independent non-profit organization that provides youth track & field for boys and girls ages 5-18, living in or around Denton, Tx. We started out as a small track team with only 8 kids in 2008. God has blessed our team with on and off the field success and growth to over 150 kids for the 2016 season!
WE NEED YOUR HELP to purchase equipment and supplies for weekly practices and to help finance travel and room and board for our gifted and grateful athletes.
There is no charge for kids to participate in our program. Our Coaches are unpaid volunteers who donate their time and resources to help give youth in this area a chance to develop their talent without the difficult financial obligations required by most track clubs. We are focused on developing youth athlete’s skills and knowledge of the sport, strength and conditioning and nutrition. We are dedicated to teach children to run with proper technic, develop muscle tone and build self-esteem. Sometimes all a kid needs is to know he/she can compete in something. This program gives every kid a chance to win and prove to him/herself that, through hard work, their goals can be accomplished.
We have learned that track & field can serve as a training basis for many sports (eg. football, soccer, basketball). One of our goals is to help athletes hone their God given talent and gain an opportunity for a college scholarship not only in track & field but in any sport. Our coaches have helped by putting together video footage and keeping records of personal best times for each of our high school athletes and sending them to hundreds of various colleges and universities. As a result, our athletes have received scholarships from Stanford University, Midwestern University, Arkansas Tech University, University of Louisiana at Monroe, Emporia State University, Bakersfield College, Temple University, University of Tennessee, University of Texas at Arlington, University of Northern Colorado, University of Tulsa, University of Iowa, Texas Southern University and Texas Wesleyan University and Harvard University.
We compete on a regional & national level with the (TAAF) Texas Amateur Athletic Federation, the State Games of America, AAU and the USATF Junior Olympics.
In order for us to provide a quality program, we must rely on the generous contributions received from individuals, community organizations, and businesses. Donating is a great opportunity to give back to your surrounding community and for the development of a child. Please consider donating to our youth track & field program. Your donation will help fund our athlete’s travel expenses to the State meet in McAllen, TX and to the AAu National Junior Olympics in Houston, Tx! Any donation, contribution or sponsorship qualifies as a tax deduction to a non-profit organization. Thank you so much!!
