Blaze's Rally against Brain Cancer

My name is Melissa Fulwood. I am best friends with Alison Bedenbaugh and my son is best buds with her son Blaze. I have known Blaze and his family since he was a lil guy running around in diapers pretending to be Spider Man. My husband and Clay have been friends long before they were lucky enough to call us their wives. Lol.
Their children are as important to us as our own son. Sadly, a couple weeks ago their family recieved news that flipped their lives upside down. Blaze was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. Specifically, Medulloblastoma. This type of cancer starts in the region of the brain at the base of the skull, called the posterior fossa. These tumors tend to spread to other parts of the brain and to the spinal cord. Blaze has already had brain surgery to remove the tumor. They were able to remove all of it! Unfortunately, there are side effects that Blaze is currently overcoming due to the surgery. Blaze will be in the hospital for an uncertain amount of time.
On top of all of this Blaze will still have to have chemo and radiation. This means trips to Jacksonville 5 days a week. Clay will miss a lot of work, which he is already doing now so he can be with his son and his wife. There is a possibility that they may have to be transfered to St. Judes hospital in Memphis, TN. We will know more once Blaze has a lumbar puncture. Additionally, the medical bills and personal bills are already adding up. As if things couldn't get worse, Alison and Clay discovered a few nights ago that someone got all of their debit card information and wiped out their checking account. Thankfully their banking establishment will reimburse them, but it is going to take some time.
As many of you can imagine the family now has a long road ahead of them. Its important for me to share that the last thing my friends would want is to ask anyone for anything. Their just not the type. They are givers. Always have been. Now they need us. It would mean so much to me and to their entire family if we could rally together and help them through this most difficult time. If you can not help financially, please pray. Add Blaze and his family to your prayer list at church. Prayers for him are the most important thing to us. Without God we could not be strong and overcome. Thank you everyone and God bless <3
