Bless the children, project Abiotfre school

My name is Lilly Belay. I’m fundraising for a group of children who are suffering every day in my home country, Ethiopia. I live in Sweden right now and I am trying my best to donate and help the suffering children. Their biggest hope is to go to school

These orphan children have gathered outside the city of Gonder. They live temporarily in tents or under open sky and are in urgent need of medical treatment and food.

I started this fund because I haven`t resources to help them by my own, at least not enough. God knows I have tried to do my best! There is no shame in asking for help!

Things have getting worse in Ethiopia because of the ongoing war between the Amhara and other ethnical groups. These children have lost their homes and families because of this. They are Amhara refugees who where forced to flee from Oromia to Gonder. There are approximately 3000 children in the camp, from small babies to teenagers.

This is so heartbreaking to see! I visited them about a year ago and due to their situation they still believe in a future! They want so badly to go to school. This is the reason I have begun to build a school where they can get an education and at the same time a place to live!

The project has already started but has now stopped because of lack of money. I have been working extra here in Sweden to continue the project, but it´s overwhelming! So, please, any donation will do!

I have received a certificate from the authorities in Gonder that gives me right to work with this matter.
