Bless the Elven Family

Last week Jeff was working on a barn at his house when he fell 12 feet off of scaffolding. In the ER they learned he had multiple contusions on his brain, a contusion on his lung, a slight pneumothorax, a broken rib, a compression fracture in his spine, and a broken scapula. After an MRI and a repeat CT, the neurosurgeon said his brain looks good and he does not need surgery on his back! Instead, he’ll be fitted for a brace that he will wear for the next 3-6 months as he heals. He will have some major restrictions (like not lifting more than 10 lb) and he is in major pain, but he’s going to be ok.

Please pray for Jeff’s recovery, for his wife, Amanda, for the kids (who are sad and scared), and for all the little details the family will need to work out while Jeff heals. ❤️
