Bless the Homeless Housing at Wesley Chapel

Donation protected
The homeless population in Tulsa has been growing dramatically.   In response, Wesley Chapel has been housing North Tulsa's families who have no home for a couple of years.   We have successfully helped these families get jobs,  obtain long-term housing, and become productive members of society.  We also provide weddings for the poor and homeless, feed and provide groceries, and activate them in ministry to others in similar situations.

Why do we do this?  All throughout scripture God asks us to.  We believe it is the role of the church to feed, clothe, house and transform the lives of the poor.  We were grateful to hear that in 2017, the State of Oklahoma passed a new law allowing churches to house the homeless.

We are completing everything the City of Tulsa is asking us to do and we are seeking to go above and beyond their call to provide amazing housing for families in need.   We have estimated this to initially cost $7,000 for painting, floor tiling, carpet tile, full laundry rooms, more showers, and so on.  The more we raise, the more we can do.

Thank you for your compassion for Tulsa's homeless.   We pray for our City leaders that we can partner with them and that all of us together -- including all the churches in Tulsa -- can house every single person in the street to transform lives from poverty to purpose.

We ultimately would like to produce a manual and task force that will help ALL Tulsa churches to begin housing the homeless in their area and completely transform this situation.

Thank you and God bless!
