Do you know someone who has been Blessed by Texas Camp? I bet you do.
· Maybe it’s your grandson who met his very best friend one summer. You know that friend who actually gets his jokes and makes him laugh ‘til he almost pukes…
· Maybe it’s that shy kid in your Bible class who finally spoke up after a week at camp. That was a great comment that kid made, wasn’t it?
·Maybe it’s your very own daughter who uses the fuel she gets from her one week of camp to make it through her school year. School can be tough. Where would she be without that one week of camp?
·Maybe it’s that teenager at your congregation. You know… that one that your 2nd grader really looks up to and wants to be just like?
·Or maybe it’s you…have you found yourself feeling relieved, happy, even overjoyed that camp is actually happening this summer? Sounds like you’ve known the blessings of Texas Camp.
Truth is, whether we realize it or not, there are just a ton of us who have been blessed by Texas camp. And now, Texas Camp really needs us.
This year, Texas Camp directors had to make the difficult choice to either cancel camp or relocate it. What a blessing it was to discover a campground centrally located, available for our dates, and with the capacity for ALL our registered campers! However, that blessing, that campground, came at a steep price. This temporary campground is 3 times the cost of the permanent campground, so the cost that campers pay to attend camp 2020 will not come close to covering the true cost of camp 2020.
If you or someone you love has been blessed by Texas Camp, CAN YOU PLEASE DONATE TO HELP COVER THESE INCREASED COSTS?
WHAT ELSE CAN YOU DO?
These are tough times, so obviously there is absolutely no pressure to give if you are not able. However, there are many FREE FREE FREE ways to help Texas Camp:
·Can you please pray daily for a successful, safe camp 2020?
·Can you please share (not just like-please SHARE) this GoFundMe on your social media?
·Can you please email this fundraiser to grandparents, aunts, uncles and any loved ones of campers?
·If times are tough, can you donate ANY AMOUNT (almost free) so that you will be counted as a donor? Let’s show the camp directors and staff that HUNDREDS of different people have been blessed by Texas Camp!
Now is the time to stand up and be counted! Let everyone know that you have been Blessed by Texas Camp!
