Blessing Bobby Wong
Donation protected
Let’s face it: There would be no need for this appeal if Bobby Wong could receive a dollar every time goes the second mile to help someone or to brighten their day.
Now Bobby needs that kindness himself.
For 20+ years, Bobby has dedicated his life, his time, his energy, and his income to care for his mother and his brother. She died in 2011. His brother died recently. Bobby would like to purchase a plot for his brother’s ashes. But that’s not this writer’s main goal for him.
You see, Bobby worked the very early shift at Walmart, then worked a second job at the truck stop café on his days off. Needless to say, Bobby has not had a "day off" in years. He came home to his brother who was too depressed to help around the house. If you know anything about this, you know.
Bobby’s cared for others, now it’s time to care for himself.
He needs a chance to catch his breath--physically, emotionally, and financially.
This fundraiser is a vote of confidence from those who hope to boost him forward and cheer him on as he reboots his life. Any gift will help, as each donation will add up quickly.
I hope he will hear from everyone whose life has been touched by his kindness.
I hope he will hear from everyone who understands the heavy load of caring for loved ones, especially when mental illness is involved.
I hope he will hear from everyone who loved the Canton Café, where his dad was a chef and his mom was a kitchen helper.
Thank you for considering this appeal to help a friend to all, Bobby Wong.
If he had a dollar for every time…
Please share. Thank you.
