Blessings and Prayers for Jasmine Griffin

Hello, I am creating this fundraiser on the behalf of Jasmine Griffin. This past February she was unexpectedly diagnosed with Cervical Cancer. She has unwavering faith despite her diagnosis. Jasmine is currently a fourth-grade teacher at a private Christian School in Smyrna Ga. She also operates a part-time virtual learning business. She has been a devoted teacher for many years. Her devotion reflects her willingness to ensure that her scholars are prepared for their upcoming achievement testing and state testing. Jasmine decided to delay her surgery to ensure that her students are academically successful in their assessments.

Jasmine's surgery is scheduled for the end of April. Her six weeks recovery period will carry into the end of the 2022-2023 school year and summer. Unfortunately, she's undecided if she will undergo chemotherapy due to personal reasons. She's continuing to pray and seek God's wisdom for after-surgery treatment. It is my prayer that she pursues aftercare treatments per her doctor's recommendations. During the summer season, she would usually conduct virtual learning sessions. However, her diagnosis requires additional treatment that will carry into the summer. Jasmine's unexpected diagnosis has caused mental, emotional and financial strain on her. She is a provider for her household and not being able to ensure that her household is financially secure should not be a concern of hers at this time. Her focus should be on her physical healing, and mental endurance.

Throughout this season she is leaning on God’s word. Jasmine's shared her favorite scripture with me. I'd like to also share it with you. " Romans 5:1-2 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”

I humbly ask that you pray for the strength of Jasmine and her sons as she accepts her diagnosis and navigates through her surgery and aftercare treatments. It is also my prayer that you give with a cheerful heart. Your prayers and donations are appreciated.
