Blessings for Selah & family

Hello everyone! We are asking for your help in alleviating some of the burden of medical expenses for Selah Levister, a very playful, energetic 3 year old, who loves Jesus! This past Tuesday, she was admitted to Levine Children's Hospital where she would be placed in critical care. After 3 days of dangerously high fevers, intense difficulty breathing, and very unusual symptoms, her health was rapidly declining.  Her wonderful team of doctors ordered lots of extensive testing, X-rays and scans.  Finally, they determined it was something called Necrosis Pneumonia. Which is a very nasty bacterial infection that literally destroys your lung tissues. This is not related to Covid-19, which she tested negative for twice. Friday evening, they did an urgent surgery to clear out excessive fluid, infection, and dead lung tissue. She was on a ventilator and a feeding tube. We are happy to say that she did nicely and is expected to make a full recovery. We do not yet know the extent of these medical bills because she is still in the hospital. We are being told she will remain in the hospital for another week and then continued care and IVs at home for 2 weeks.  Selah will continue to endure testing and X-rays every day during her stay to monitor this infection and her body’s progress in fighting it.  As everyone is aware, all nonessential businesses are closed due to the quarantine --which includes hair stylists like Jeorjia, Selah’s mother. Her loss of income during this time will certainly be felt as it will be for all who are affected. Anything you feel led to give is certainly appreciated. The funds will go towards medical expenses & food and gas for mom and dad during their stay. Your prayers and kindness are such encouragement during this time! We are praising God for her complete and total restoration!  We are also so very thankful for the many physicians and medical team who are taking good care of this wonderful  little girl!
