Blessings for Wren “Birdie” Hopper

I’m creating this on behalf of my sister Lisa (Dixon) Hopper, husband William Hopper and her young family. A fear looming in all new parents’ mind has become a reality for them.

On 11/22, their youngest daughter Wren, who is just 10 weeks old, was life flighted to Children’s hospital where she remains in critical condition in the PICU due to complications from RSV. Currently she is intubated on a ventilator while being treated for RSV, bronchiolitis, and pneumonia. She has a partially collapsed lung with further tests pending to confirm next steps. Wren has already faced many hurdles in life, including a multiple day NICU stay after birth for oxygen support. At 8.2 pounds with prior struggles to gain weight, her little body is fighting with all she has.

They are now faced with the additional costs of William commuting to still care for their eldest daughter, providing meals for the home and hospital, as well as the impending medical bills that are piling up by the minute.
