Blewett Pass Crash-Help for Kara and Howie

Donation protected
After a long overdue visit with friends and family Kara, Howard and their two children Howie (age 8) and Evy (13 months) headed home Monday, January 9th to begin the new work/school week. Just shortly into their trek home on Blewett pass they hit a section of nasty winter "slush" and crossed the center line. Their SUV was hit in the rear northbound by a GMC pickup truck with both vehicles landing in the snow bank. Kara was in the passenger seat and taken straight to Central WA Hospital. She suffered 4 broken ribs, a fractured nose and sutures to her eye. Their son Howie began seizing and was sent into a medically-induced coma and is currently receiving care in Spokane. Howard is by his son's side in Spokane while Kara is in East Wenatchee with their daughter Evy. The separation between this close family has been the most painful ache of it all. We are asking for help to cover medical expenses, transportation, food, diapers, clothes and bills. They are unsure of when they will get to return home, work, and school. Unknowing of the trauma they would endure they did not prepare for a long stay. They have a long road ahead of them and we ask for prayers and to share if you can. Blessings to you all.
