Blind Brook Destination Imagination Teams

Want to join us in celebrating creativity and education? We are raising money to benefit Parent Booster USA Inc (Blind Brook Destination Imagination), and any donation will help make an impact. The Blind Brook Destination Imagination Booster Club is a not-for-profit that helps defray the costs for students participating in the Destination Imagination Program at the Blind Brook-Rye Union Free School District.

What is Destination Imagination (DI)? In DI students work together in teams to solve open-ended STEAM challenges designed to teach the creative process. Why is that important? The creative process is a step-by-step approach that helps students better understand problems and ask better questions, come up with solutions, learn from failure, and celebrate their achievements.

In going through this process, kids learn vital life and career skills—creative thinking, critical thinking, public speaking, and collaborative problem-solving—that help them feel empowered and set them up for success in their future.

The Global Finals Tournament is in Kansas City, MO. We have 4 teams that are progressing to the tournament. Your donation with help with the costs to attend as well as ship the children’s props to Kansas City.
