Blinkers is a short film created for the purpose to entertain and hopefully educate. We find ourselves in this day and age constantly being exposed by multiple outlets of useless information.
Through our mobile phones, tablets and laptops, we often find ourselves spending less time with the people around us physically, and more time watching funny cat videos, or looking through holiday photos of someone you knew 5 years ago.
In the 21st century we find that we are missing some real cherished moments in life because we were to busy texting back or scrolling the endless cycle of photos on Instagram.
I want Blinkers to help be part of the realisation process that sometimes, that email you want to respond to can wait until later; while the person you are with wants to tell you a funny story about what they got up to last night.
The donations made will help get the right equipment for the shoot and get the quality of actors/actress's that we need to deliver the high quality film we want to create. None of the donations will be for profit or anything other than the filming process.
We have two months from now to raise the total sum needed. Shooting begins August 19th and to get the money prior would be incredible.
The support given by anyone, even if you can only contribute a few pounds wouldn't be taken lightly! As we are only using crew and cast that have a passion for creating short films; this project will be shot with love and care to deliver a final product we can all be happy with.
A personal note from myself, without your help, this project won't be what we have envisioned and unfortunately, we don't do things by halves. Help us create something that may make someone you love put down their damn phone for an evening and just spend it with you.
