BLM Perth: Funds for protest costs

Boorloo Justice is raising funds to pay for the costs of the protest being held in Perth on the 4th of July for the Black Lives Matter National Weekend of Action.

Boorloo Justice is a grassroots organisation lead by young BIPOC activists in Perth who are campaigning for an end to systemic racism.

Although the protest is incurring some large costs, we feel that they are necessary for a successful and powerful protest. There is a brief explanation of the reason for each cost beside them in brackets. 

The total is made up of the following costs:
$1200 = Sound system and stage High quality to ensure everyone can hear speakers)
$430 = Security (To guard stage and ensure the planned speakers are actually able to speak and so that people don't storm on stage)
$135 = Permit (Necessary for us to be able to access power supply) 
$70 = Printing posters o( promote the protest)

Any additional donations over this amount ($1835) that is not used on the day for any protest-related costs will be donated to the "Justice for Yuendumu: Inquiry on Police Shooting" Gofundme

We will release proof of payment/ receipts after the protest in order to maintain transparency.
