Blockheads Lego Club

The Lego Mens Club was founded over 18 months ago. It was formed to give an opportunity for Adult fans of Lego to come together but more importantly, offering a non-confrontational way for new friends to be made and to help reduce isolation and loneliness.
The Group supports a wide range of ages, from 20 to 70. Many of the group have lived experience with learning difficulties or mental health challenges but it works amazingly with friendships formed and advice given at times, coupled with lots of laughter and a sense of achievement exploring Lego.
Lego also has a wider impact beyond the Group with a space available to others to come in and build models.
The goal is to raise funds for additional Lego sets for the Group and community use.
It is massively important as improving postive Mental Health is essential for health and happiness. Men often struggle to open up and socialise and the group approach works well, with all members, seeing the sessions as hugely beneficial.
