Help Save Droylsden Football Club.

Droylsden Football Club is on it's way back but we need your help to carry on this great clubs 140 year plus history.

Back in August 2020 Droylsden FC withdrew from the Northern Premier League due to devastating financial toll that the covid lockdown had taken on the clubs finances.

But after two and a half years the club a looking at making a comeback. After two positive fan meetings with over 100 fans in attendnace at the lastest one we now know what the first steps are in order to allow us to play football at the Butchers Arms again.

The main phase of the project is to raise £10,000 to help to gain a safety certificate allowing us to play football at the ground and welcome fans back.

There is much to do but the immediate work that needs to be done to get the ground up to the required safety standards for which we estimate a cost of £10,000 includes:

Replacing bird netting and roof netting

Steam cleaning and full clean down including removal of pigeon mess and accumulation of moss

Yellow safety floor markings

Replacement of some perimeter fencing

There are a multitude of sundry jobs which include general repainting,weeding and cleaning

Repairs to parts of the William Pace stand which were vandalised during the lockdown
