Bloody hell! Jane Barrow's done 100 chemos!

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Jane and I have incurable and inoperable cancer, I lucked out in the lottery of life! Every 11 days I have chemo/targeted therapy that controls my disease (whose name is Barbara Twatty) and on the 11th February I’ll have reached my 100th cycle.
To celebrate I would love to raise shitloads (it's bowel cancer) of money for the following charities; Cancer Research, St Columba’s Hospice, Edinburgh Young Carers and the fantastic staff of Ward 1 at the Western General in Edinburgh.
Cancer Research is a charity that is very close to my heart, the more funding they get, the higher the chance of better treatments or even a cure for people like me.
St Columba’s Hospice is a much needed charity in Edinburgh, they looked after my Auntie and cousin in their last days with compassion and understanding. And I’m delighted to say that I work in their retail sector so I’ve seen how hard all the people involved work.
Edinburgh Young Carers is a brilliant charity that supports young people with challenging family circumstances. They’ve been great with our daughter and have given her and many kids relief from difficult times.
And last but not least the people who have kept me alive for 3 years- the superheros of Ward 1. They’ve been with me through 2 mental breakdowns, many laughs and seem quite amused by my clothing choices. They keep smiling and caring whatever is thrown at them, absolute legends.
I would be so grateful for any donation you could make, as these funds can make a real difference, especially to smaller charities.
I’m thankful to my core that I am still here and I feel strongly a duty to pay back what I can, while I can.
Info about the charities is available online and the NHS is the NHS- nuff said! More information about Cancer Research UK: Cancer Research UK is the world's leading charity dedicated to research on the causes, treatment and prevention of cancer. Thanks to research, more people are surviving cancer than ever before.

P.S My message always is, don't wait to see your doctor is something is wonky with your body. Get in early and save your own life!!
