Blu Needs Life Saving Surgery!
Tax deductible
Blu was surrendered to the Colonial Heights Animal Shelter after it was discovered he’d spent 90% of his young life living in a crate. The animal control officers immediately recognized that something was wrong with this precious boy. He walked funny and was incontinent. RDR sent him to a specialist where they conducted an MRI and concluded that he had a pocket of fluid pressing on his spine as well as various forms of spina bifida. Blu needs surgery to remove the pocket of fluid in order to keep him from eventually becoming paralyzed; however it will not cure his incontinence. We are looking for a special home where he can recover from this surgery, and with someone that can accommodate his special needs. Blu is only 5 months old. He loves everyone and everything he has met. He deserves a real chance at life. Please help us give that to him.
