Blue & Green MM's.......Competition for a Cause

Tax deductible
Over 60 rowers, ranging in age from 20 to 80 somethings, can be found on the Oakland Estuary before sunrise four mornings each week, year round. We are EBRC’s Morning Masters rowers. Some rowed in high school or college; others learned to row in middle life or after retirement. Many race for EBRC, squeezing into blue and green spandex uniforms to bring home medals. All are committed to EBRC’s mission of “Changing Lives One Stroke at a Time.”

EBRC is a non-profit organization providing equipment and scholarships for Oakland United Rowing (the youth rowing program for Oakland and East Bay high school students) and adult Masters Rowing programs. EBRC is a community-focused rowing club, integrating top-notch rowing and inclusivity to reflect the diversity and values of our East Bay home in Oakland. No matter how diverse our lives and rowing skills are, we share the belief that by working together we can achieve strength, power, grace and beauty.

Working together we can go further and faster than we can go alone. We need equipment to do this! Hence this fundraiser, Competition for a Cause! Please support our efforts to make rowing accessible to the community of Oakland by powering our community’s high school age youth and Master adults with equipment. Donate today!
