Blue Nose Day Sleepout 2024

Birmingham City Foundation is proud to be supporting some of the most vulnerable children in the city once again, as the Blue Nose Day Christmas gift campaign returns for the second year.

Thanks to the incredible support of Blues supporters last season, the Foundation was able to provide a gift at Christmas to 11,500 young people known to the Birmingham Children’s Trust, and the whole Club is committed to bringing smiles to the faces of all those children once more.

Bfriends, the charity of Birmingham Children’s Trust, stated that the organisation had never seen a gift-giving campaign the size of the one delivered by the Blues fans last year, and in order to repeat this, the Foundation is hosting a sleepout at St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park.

Taking place on the evening of Saturday 14 December, following the Men’s match with Bristol Rovers, brave Bluenoses will bed down under the Gil Merrick as temperatures drop, with aim of raising enough money to purchase 11,500 gifts made up of cuddly toys, footballs, blankets and washbags.

The charity event will kick-off at 8pm, with special guests arriving later in the night to watch the 2011 Carling Cup Final on the stadium’s giant screens. Kiosks will be open in the Gil Merrick keeping participants refreshed, and coffee and breakfast will be provided in the morning courtesy of the Foundation.
