Blue Ridge Watershed Coalition - Sampling costs
Tax deductible
The Blue Ridge Watershed Coalition has been monitoring local streams within our watershed on the Blue Ridge Mountains of Jefferson County to Charles Town WV, to help find the source of our local issues. To date, we have almost 10 years of monthly data that is EPA accepted with the help of the Friends of the Shenandoah River. 4 streams have been placed on the "Impaired Streams" list with the WV DEP, which will help us qualify for federal funding to help mitigate our water quality issues. In order to continue this important work, we need your help. We currently monitor 10 sites, with each site costing approximately $1,000 per year to monitor. Our work has produced tangible results that will help provide funding and projects to improve water quality of the Shenandoah River. Thank you very much for your consideration of our non-profit for donation. We can't do it without you.
