Our Mission:
Blue Tree Project began as a grassroots project and has flourished into a not-for-profit making an impact. Our mission is to help spark difficult conversations and encourage people to speak up when battling with mental health concerns. We are raising awareness of mental wellbeing and kicking the stigma by spreading the message that 'it's ok to have a blue day'.
The Blue Tree Project was inspired by Jayden Whyte (aka Jaydo, Rex) painting a tree blue on his parents' farm in Mukinbudin, Western Australia, as a practical joke. Tragically Jayden took his life in November 2018.
We are stronger than we believe, braver than we think and loved more than we know.

Where will my money go?
Donating to our cause will help fund organised community painting days and events, as well as the development of a school program to help educate our youth. Coming together as a community is so important for creating a safe space, allowing people to open up about their mental health. Learning how to look after ourselves and each other equips us with the tools to cope with life's challenges. Your donations will allow us dream bigger and help pave the way for a mentally healthy future.
