Please help FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge) robotics team "Blue Box" to the 2023 FIRST World Championship in Houston TX (April 18 to 22, 2023)!
We are team Blue Box #11780 from Windham NH. On February 18, 2023, at the NH FTC State Championship, we won the Inspire Award (All-Rounded Overall Highest Award) and advanced to the 2023 FIRST World Championship. Blue Box will not only represent the town of Windham, but also represent the New Hampshire State to compete with 191 High-Performance FTC teams from around the world. We also won the Finalist Alliance Winner Award (elimination playoff matches) and the Promote Award at the State Championship.
NH FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Inspire Award:
This judged award is given to the team that best embodies the ‘challenge’ of the FTC program. Blue Box receives this award as a strong ambassador for FIRST programs and a role model FIRST team. Blue Box is a top contender for many other judged awards and is a gracious competitor. The Inspire Award winner is an inspiration to other teams, acting with Gracious Professionalism both on and off the playing field. Blue Box shared their experiences, enthusiasm and knowledge with other teams, sponsors, the community, and the judges. Working as a unit, this team had shown success in performing the task of designing and building a robot.

About FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC):
It’s way more than building robots. FIRST Tech Challenge teams (for students grades 7-12) are challenged to design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in a head-to-head challenge in an alliance format. Guided by adult coaches and mentors, students develop STEM skills and practice engineering principles while realizing the value of hard work, innovation, and working as a team.
