Bryan Sutton & Bluegrass Jam Along Helene Fundraiser
Tax deductible
Hurricane Helene has devastated large areas in western North Carolina and eastern Tennessee, leaving people homeless, without power and in desperate need of help. The news cycle moves on quickly, but it will take weeks, months or even years to rebuild the lives and communities hit hardest.
I'm putting together a very special episode of my podcast Bluegrass Jam Along to raise funds for the relief effort, with all the proceeds going directly to the IBMA Trust Fund to help members of the musical community who have been hit badly by the hurricane and its aftermath.
The episode will feature a very special guest with strong ties to this region, Bryan Sutton, who was born and grew up in Asheville, one of the places hit hardest by Hurricane Helene.
But I won't be interviewing Bryan - you will!
Everyone who donates will get to submit a question for Bryan and I'll put as many of them as I can to him over the course of the episode. Not only that, every single donor will be thanked by name in the episode itself.
The interview will take place on October 28th, so you have plenty of time to get your questions in! What do you want to ask the most awarded acoustic guitarist of his generation? You can ask about strings, guitars, picks, favourite recordings, who he most admires...what his favourite chocolate bar is or (within reason!) anything.
All the funds raised by this episode will go directly to the IBMA Trust Fund to help those most affected by the hurricane and help them get their lives back on track.
To ask Bryan a question, send it to me using the 'contact' button in the 'organizer' info below.
If you can't donate, or you've already donated to another fundraiser, please do consider sharing this. Every donation will make a very real difference.
Thanks in advance!
