Brian’s Battle to Recovery

As many of you know, Dad fell at home in mid January. Unfortunately from the fall he suffered a neck injury that caused damage to his spinal cord causing paralysis to his legs, hands and limited mobility with his arms. After weeks in the hospital, he currently is going through intense OT/PT rehab with the goal of returning home. Once home, Dad will need all day skilled nursing care, a power chair, a bedroom & bathroom retrofitted to be handicapped accessible, a vehicle to get him transported, a hospital bed and many other things. Insurance is paying very little once he is discharged in terms of care & medical equipment. As Dad continues this battle to recovery, his medical bills are continuing to grow and he will have to pickup the full insurance premium as well as we will not be able to return to work. If you know my Dad, you know he's a fighter who will continue to give his all through the recovery process.
