Help Rocky Recover

Hi, my name is Marc and I am fundraising on the behalf of the Valderrama family.

Rocky Valderrama, our dear friend, brother, boyfriend, cousin, and son was in a terrible accident on Saturday, August 28th. Rocky was on a vacation in Palm Springs that unfortunately turned into a tragedy. Around 7 am, Rocky suffered a traumatic brain injury and was rushed to the ER. He is currently in the ICU in Palm Springs in critical condition and is being monitored 24/7. Rocky and all his family are originally from San Francisco, but his parents immediately flew down when they heard the news. His family is not only facing the emotional trauma of their son being severely injured, but are also facing an enormous financial burden. Rocky had to undergo emergency surgery very early Monday morning to remove part of his skull because the swelling was so severe and now, he is in a coma. He and his family are going to be left with a heavy medical bill, hotel costs, and be facing the burden of not working in order to care for their son.

Rocky has a heart of gold and only wants to do some good in the world. He graduated as a Psychology major, works with his father in their successful and growing family business, and more recently, began pursuing a fire fighting career. He was already 2 years into this process and was extremely close to completing his life goal. Rocky is strong (he wasn’t named Rocky for no reason), but we know it’s going to be a long road to recovery. This process may take anywhere from 6 months or even up to 1-2 years, keeping in mind the countless hours of therapy and potential procedures that may be needed.
