McBride Family House Fire

Hi everyone, my name is Zach McBride, and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my parents, Abby and Adam McBride. On the morning of December 30th, my mom and dad lost everything to a devastating house fire. While they were both at work, they received the gut-wrenching call that smoke was rolling out of their home of 25+ years knowing that they had multiple animals living inside. They rushed home to find everything ablaze with very little to be salvaged. Losing the only remaining pictures and items of my brother, their only other son, who passed away just a few years ago, among countless other irreplaceable items and family heirlooms. Many animals were trapped inside and unfortunately did not survive, as well as all of their belongings. My dad tried so hard to save all of their animals, but he was injured a few weeks ago and has a broken arm. A few animals made it out safely. They were left with nothing but the clothes they wore to work that day.

All of their life they have done everything in their power to help anyone in need, as well as the community, without ever asking for anything in return. Our hope is that now, in their time of need, we can help them to get back on their feet since they have always lived so selflessly.

We are searching for support to help them start over. They will need funds to begin rebuilding a home, furnishing it, feeding their surviving animals, and buying clothes. They are unaware that we are putting together this fundraiser, and we would like to keep it that way. We know that they would never ask for help, but I can only imagine their gratitude if we could come together to help them at this time.
