Medical Fund

My name is Christen. My mother Didi Hayes had an unexpected medical emergency on July 25th. She was rushed to Baptist Heath in Fort Smith, Ar with internal bleeding. They initially thought it was a reoccurrence from when she had internal bleeding from her colonoscopy mishap a year or so ago. They tried fixing it there and realized she has a rare disorder. They admitted her and tried to find a Dr and Team that has dealt with what she is suffering from. They finally found a Dr and Team in Plano, Tx and she was sent via helicopter to Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital on July 29th. Once she arrived the Dr.’s made 3 plans of action. Going from least invasive to having to open her up. On July 31 they did 2 out of the 3 procedures and unfortunately they were unsuccessful. This is due to her having Vasculitis and an enlarged heart. They are now making plans for the 3rd plan of action which is to open her up. This is an invasive surgery with a longer recovery time.

Didi is the main income in her household of one. She will be out of work for a little while and will have quite a bit of Dr bills when this is all said and done.

She does so much for so many! She would never ask for help! She does not know about this and will probably be super mad at me and my siblings for doing this for her but several have asked to help and so we believe this is a great way to do so. There is no help too small!
