Standing on my own 2 legs again

Many of you supported me over 8 years ago after a life changing accident and I’ve always held the support I felt really close to my heart. Miraculously I survived the injuries but it has left me in a very twisted & painful body. Because of my spinal cord injury, the paralysis, my weak neck & scoliosis I haven’t been able to work for the past 8 years. I really struggle to hold my head up on my shoulders, I can’t stand up for long or walk any kind of distance so it limits me in most things.

After such a life altering incident it’s taken a long time for deep & meaningful transformation to happen but I now find myself mentally & emotionally in a really content & grounded place. A huge part of this strength has come from my Tibetan Buddhist meditation practice & my experience with psychotherapy.

I find myself truly inspired & motivated to share this with others & I dream to use my experience to help others through 3 different avenues - Teaching Meditation, Sound Therapy & Psychotherapy. I feel very excited to start carving out this new path & hopefully it will all come together to be able to earn a living again & support myself. These are also paths where I can control my own diary & be seated in a chair that supports my spine so that I don’t physically over-exert my body. The struggle I find myself in though is that I need capital to invest into this future to pay for things like my studies, the sound instruments (Gongs, Tibetan singing bowls etc) & a recording setup.

After all these years I still haven’t had a penny compensation for the accident, even though the other side got proven 100% negligent in court. I am still stuck in legal politics and, in all honesty, I have very little trust that I will ever receive anything (there’s a very long, complicated story there, too long for this page).

So I’m reaching out to see if anyone will be able to help support my venture into my new life to be able to stand on my own 2 legs again & at the same time be able to help others that are suffering. Absolutely anything, big or small, will be held in my heart with the utmost love and I will try to take you along on my journey through social media so that you can see what your money has gone towards.
