BOAS Surgery for Pangpang the Pug

Hi friend!
My name is Pangpang the Pug and I bring joy to millions of dog lovers on social media (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and Facebook). I was even featured in the NSPCC’s Letter from Santa campaign!
Unfortunately, despite my pawrents’ best efforts to help me enjoy a happy and healthy life, I require BOAS surgery to help me breathe better. This surgery will improve my quality of life, particularly in warmer weather when I struggle. It was a difficult decision but one we consider necessary as Pangpang’s health is our number one priority.
What procedure does Pangpang require?
The surgeon has estimated the cost of his BOAS surgery at £4,000-£4,500 and, unfortunately, our insurance provider refused to cover any of it. Upon examination, Pangpang was categorised as a Level 2 case and the surgery will help to widen his nostrils to increase airflow and widen his airway.
How your generous donations will be used
Any support would be greatly appreciated. All money raised through this fundraiser will go directly to:
- covering the costs of the surgery
- aiding Pangpang’s recovery (estimated to take 1 month). We will do everything we can to keep him comfortable and well-rested as he recovers from the surgery.
