Bob Bishop Fund

PRAYERS NEEDED!! I am asking EVERYONE to please pray right now for my friends, Shawna Bishop and her husband, Bob. Even if you don’t know him that well. He needs all the prayers he can get. The last week of January 2020 he was in Cincinnati, Ohio for work. He was brutally assaulted in the parking lot of his hotel. He suffered a traumatic brain injury with multiple skull fractures, and experienced bleeding on the brain. He was rushed to a hospital and underwent emergency brain surgery. They found his frontal lobe to have contusions and bruising as well as multiple damaged blood vessels. He also has fractures along his ear and throughout his face. They had to remove a section of his skull to aid with the swelling. They initially intubated him too so he could breathe.

He isn’t out of the woods yet as they are still concerned about swelling in the brain which will cause more damage. He will remain in the ICU until things seem to progress in a positive way. 

Some prayers for the family would be appreciated as well so they can get through this with him. This unfortunate incident will take a toll on the family as Bob was the only one working an independent contracting job full-time that doesn't pay disability leave. His wife will be going back and forth from NW Indiana to Cincinnati  via a four hour drive starting this week so she can be there for their 3 children as well as for Bob.
