Bob Boleky Memorial Wildlife Legacy Fund
Donation protected
(Black Bear at turkey / deer feeding station, May 2020, estimated at 400 pounds).
In 2004, Robert B. "Bob" Boleky and his wife Lisa purchased a "fixer upper" home and outbuildings surrounded by 11 acres of open and wooded land in rural Venango County, PA. The couple were dedicated to a great cause - preserving the environment, rescuing wildlife and adopting homeless pets.
Working side by side every weekend for years, Bob and Lisa rehabilitated the structures and landscaped the habitat for wildlife to thrive with food, water, cover, and places to raise young.
The property has been certified as an American Tree Farm, Bartramian Audubon Society Bird & Butterfly Sanctuary, and National Wildlife Federation Habitat.
The Boleky's were in the process of converting their holdings into a private charitable foundation for future environmental and animal organizations to "set up shop" for their cause. With buildings and operational funds in place, these future non-profits could focus their funding drives and energy to saving animals rather than being concerned about office space, enclosures, rent, utilities, and taxes.
After a hard-fought battle, Bob succumbed to cancer on June 12, 2020 before the work was finished and operational funds established. The goal to help future environmental and animal organizations lives on even though Bob does not.
Thank you for your generosity.
