Bob's Cancer Challenges. Help is needed.

Donation protected
 Update, December 5th 2023.
First, a belated Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.
We have so much to be grateful for.
We want to thank those who have donated and all who are keeping Bob in their prayers.❣️

Bob has now received 5 chemo treatments and survived and unexpected surgery to remove the large (Saddle PE) blood clot that developed in his lungs.
Originally we were told the chemo treatments would be till the end of November but have now been extended into early January.
Chemo is much more complicated than I realized, and we won't know if surgery is still needed till the chemo treatments are completed in January and he has a new MRI.

God bless anyone reading this who has gone through this process.

Bob has a great sense of humor and is doing his best to stay positive, but he is extremely tired, and if you know him, he is not a sit around kinda guy.  He has been feeling very restless, lonely, exhausted and now the chemo is making him feel very weak.
The chemo treatments happen at the hospital but involve returning home with a device attached to the port, so going out, even just for a walk, is a concern, and, Bob's lungs are still healing from the PE surgery.

Rent is a huge concern of his.  He's been blessed this far but January rent isn't far off and that fear of not having a job to pay the rent is always there.

Our goal for this fundraiser is to remove all financial burden so that he can focus his energy on healing.

We are asking for any donations possible.
As we all know, every little bit helps!  If we can take the financial concern off his plate for a bit, that would be fantastic!
If you can't help monetarily, please at least keep him in your prayers and send positive thoughts his way!!

To all who have helped, thank you so very much.❣️
Blessings from, Kathy, Maura, the rest of our family, and of course Bob, who is beyond grateful.

We are praying for Bob's body to be strengthened,
restored to perfect health cancer free,
to reverse any side effects that are now causing him problems,
andto not have any financial worries during this battle.

Please PLEASE continue to repost and share this fundraiser with others.   Every person who responds reminds Bob that he's not alone, and every donation, no matter how small, helps more than you know.

If you haven't already read this post, and are interested in the details, this is the story...

In March, during a routine colonoscopy, a tumor was found.   Bob was scheduled to have surgery June 19th but after an MRI, the Drs realized that the surgery would be too complicated.  He met with his oncologist and this is what he was told....
An MRI showed the tumor had tripled in size, had grown into the wall of the rectum and cancer was detected in surrounding lymph nodes, making his cancer Stage 3.
Due to the agressive nature of the cancer, radiation was started and would be followed by a series of chemo treatments. The goal is to destroy or at least shrink the tumor for surgery, and kill off any other cancer present.
Bob continued working as long as he could but had to stop two weeks into radiation because of serious side effects.
He completed 28 days of radiation and 2 weeks later the chemo port was surgically implanted into his chest, and chemo was started.

Again, to all who have helped, thank you so very much.❣️
