Bob Hurley is Pedaling for Paws

Cantaloupe's very own Bob Hurley will embark on a coast-to-coast bicycling adventure. Bob plans to leave San Diego, California on or around September 10th along the southern tier bicycle route that crosses the southern United States finishing up in St. Augustine, FL where he resides.

Determined to be a part of ending veteran suicide, Bob Hurley has chosen to partner with "K9s For Warriors". This non-profit organization provides highly-trained Service Dogs to military veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury, and/or other military trauma, and is the largest provider of service dogs for veterans. With most dogs coming from high-kill rescue shelters, this innovative program allows the K9/Warrior team to build an unwavering bond that facilitates their collective healing and recovery.
