Bob McGill (Honda Bob) - Our Fathers Fight

Our Dad, Bob McGill, is a kind and caring man who always goes above and beyond to help others. He loves spending time with his family and loves his job at Allen Honda. He's been selling Honda's for more than 40 years and treats his customers like family. He's even earned the nickname "Honda Bob".
On April 7th, our Dad was taken to the hospital with shortness of breath and it was later found that he had Covid-19. This was the beginning of the fight for his life.
Within 24hrs, Dad was moved to ICU & placed on the ventilator. His lungs were being effected by the virus, and the medical staff worked diligently to make sure he was given the best chance of survival. There were several other complications while he was on the ventilator, but after 15 days, he was finally taken off and was able to breathe on his own using high-flow oxygen for support.
While plans were being made to transfer Dad to a Rehab Facility, a new test revealed a bleed on the left side of his brain. After multiple consults, a surgical procedure wasn't deemed necessary at this time.
Today, April 30th, we received a call from the Doctor stating that his respiratory status was not well. We were faced with the possibility that Dad could have to be placed back on the ventilator. Thankfully, he didn't have to be intubated again, but he was placed on a non-invasive ventilation machine. He continues to fight to maintain his oxygen level and we have faith that God will help pull him through this.
Bob's family appreciates the outpouring of love, prayers and support. Dad has not given up & neither have we. We are praying that Dad will continue to beat every obstacle that is thrown his way and come back home to us.
While Allen Honda has been graciously supportive to Dad & our family, the financial burden of 3+ weeks in ICU is going to be substantial. The donations received will be used as supplemental income to help pay for incoming medical expenses, the long road of recovery that will be ahead, and any additional household expenses that occur during this time.
