Bob Reading

Bob Reading passed away suddenly on the afternoon of April 1. Due to the unexpectedness of his death, Bob’s kids are taking on the burden that comes with funeral costs and could use our community’s support. Bob spent countless years coaching baseball and softball at all levels on Kent Island. The impact he had on his players, their families, and our community is immeasurable. He loved running into former players and parents while working the post office or at the local liquor store. He DJ’ed many a school dances, former players weddings, and other community events. He has given so much to our community over the last 30 years.

There will be a celebration of life for Bob that all are welcome to attend at Crab Deck on April 13 at 4pm. The Reading family is appreciative of any contributions the community is able to give in his honor.
